Additional Information about the Print

An impression was included in Walcot’s ‘Impressions of Egypt’ exhibition at the Fine Art Society in 1928.

An impression had already been exhibited in a mixed show of ‘Modern Etchings’ at the Beaux Arts Gallery in October 1926 and was shown again, April/May 1929, at the Beaux Arts in a group show ‘Original Engravings, Etchings & Drypoints by younger Contemporary Gravers’.

Also included in the 1927 Fine art Society mixed show of etchings.

The temple of Horus at Edfou was again the inspiration for this imaginary scene.
